Apparat

Six years after his Grammy-nominated „LP5“, Berlin-based producer, composer, and performer Sascha Ring, better known as APPARAT, is preparing to unveil his next chapter. His new album, „A Hum Of Maybe”, and a full-band live tour are set for early 2026. Co-created with long-time collaborator Philipp Johann Thimm, the record continues APPARAT’s signature blend of modular textures, intricate electronics, and striking vocal presence.
“’Maybe’ is not weakness but a space where things can still grow,” says Sascha Ring. “The ‚Hum‘ is that undercurrent of potential – not a clear yes or no, but the in-between where life happens.”
Over the years, APPARAT has built a reputation for immersive live shows at festivals and concert halls around the globe, including performances at Sónar, Primavera Sound, and Palais de la Découverte for ARTE Concert. APPARAT’s last full-band tour took place during the early days of the pandemic, when live music was largely on hold. His music has also reached a worldwide audience through acclaimed syncs, most notably with the title track for the Netflix hit series „Dark“.
After the worldwide tour with MODERAT in 2022/23 and a few chosen DJ sets in the last years, Sascha Ring aka APPARAT now returns to the stage with a special live experience in carefully chosen venues across Europe. Concerts will feature „A Hum Of Maybe“ in full, alongside selected highlights from APPARAT’s earlier work – an exclusive opportunity to hear the record live before release.
